About Us
Elvia Taylor, Owner, Founder, and CEO of Crossing Borders Group, began teaching English and Spanish at the age of 17. At 25, she started her own company while working as a bilingual executive for major international companies.
In 2001, Elvia founded Crossing Borders Group and has since focused on providing high-quality lessons and materials to adults and children.
With over 30 years of experience in the language industry, Elvia and Crossing Borders are ready to help teachers, parents, and students learn a new language while having fun, using Crossing Borders' unique and creative learning materials.
This year marks our 25th anniversary as a locally owned, woman-led, and family-operated center right here in Houston!

We don’t just create bilingual resources; we live them every single day. Our shop is deeply rooted in the daily life of our sister company, Crossing Borders International School.
Every alphabet tracing sheet, every bilingual activity, and every lesson plan you see here has been "field-tested" by our own teachers and students in our Rice Village classrooms. By bringing our classroom-proven methods to your front door, we ensure that your child is learning with tools that are truly educator-backed and kid-approved.

Are your books available on paperback?
Yes, our books can currently be bought on both Amazon and on the Barnes & Noble website.
Do you have the option of acquiring multiple books for our schools?
Yes, we partner with a couple of printers to bring you the best pricing if you are looking to buy multiple books. Send us a message and we will reach back.
What do I need to use your printable resources?
You will receive a PDF file with your purchase. All you will need is a way to open PDFs on your computer and a printer. As easy as that.
Do you offer white label?
This is something we would have to discuss on a 1 on 1 basis but it is possible.
